The City of Shoreline
Notice of Availability: Draft SEIS
This Notice of Availability is given pursuant to the Washington State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA), RCW 43.21C, and WAC Chapter 197-11 (SEPA Guidelines). This Notice is to advise you that the City of Shoreline, as lead agency, has issued the Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the Shoreline North / 185th Station Area and it is now available for public review. The purpose of the Draft SEIS is to analyze alternatives to the previous EIS prepared for the Station Area (185th Street Station Subarea Planned Action FEIS, City of Shoreline, November 26, 2014).
The Draft SEIS analyzes the impacts associated with future development in the Shoreline North / 185th Street Station Subarea. As required, the Draft SEIS evaluates a "No Action" Alternative under which it is assumed that growth and development would occur within the area based on existing plan policies and regulations. It also includes an "Action" Alternative which applies a higher level of growth, updates the subarea plan and planned action ordinance, and makes targeted changes to development regulations, such as connectivity recommendations.
Public Comment: The City of Shoreline is requesting comments from community members, agencies, tribes, and all interested parties on the Draft SEIS from July 31, 2026 to August 31, 2026. Comments are due by 5:00 pm, Pacific Time, August 31, 2026. Please send comments to:
