An intergovernmental organization, or IGO, is an institution made up of the governments of member states, who have joined together to cooperate on common goals. |

| Perkins Library is an official depository for North Carolina public documents. The collection includes major reference publications, microfiche and legal materials. The Library also receives New York state documents and collects core documents from other states. |
