I love this kindle. I love the color mainly because I am obsessed with the color green. I love how much faster this one is compared to my old one which was like a generation 4. This one connected really quick to my internet. I love how light weight it is. I don't believe it is waterproof, so I will make sure to be careful when reading in the tub. I like that there is only one button, for going to the screensaver and bringing up the option to restart/reset and turn off screen. The quality of this eReader is so much better than my older one as well. It has more options, like dark mode, access to audiobooks, access to GoodReads, Bluetooth connectivity. I feel that it is as durable as my previous one, and see it being with me for a long time. I wanted a kindle that I could have the assisted reader on and this one has that, so I can have that option when my ADHD is an issue and I have problems focusing. For me its the little things that make life that much better, and this is one of those things. So happy that I finally treated myself to this. ♥

I love my new little 6” Kindle reader. I bought it to replace my 2023 7” Fire that failed to charge any more. I decided to go with this b/w display model because I only use it for reading & listening to audible books so I don’t need a color display. And since I carry it in my purse all the time, I definitely wanted to keep it small. This little reader is well worth the money. It’s touchscreen fast to load and move through text, and the layout, text style & size are easy to change. It charges quickly too & the charge seems to last a long time. The case color (Sage) is pretty & I’m happy with the overall design & and quality. I purchased a magnetic case that fits well & allows me to use in either portrait or landscape position.

My first ever Kindle was delivered this morning. I have been wanting one and decided to buy it bc of the sale price. I have to be honest, I am a little disappointed and unimpressed. I have been reading on my Samsung S22 Ultra. My Samsung has no delay, no weird loading, and it's in COLOR! How much or how hard would it be for Amazon to have the book covers in color? Yes, I knew it was in B&W but going from a crisp, perfect picture, fast response to, B&W is horrible & feels old. I was trying to decide between this Kindle and the regular Paperwhite. I am so happy I didn't spend extra on a Paperwhite bc that's B&W too. The only thing keeping me from returning this is the cost and the lighting. I read before bed, like everyone, and my cell is too bright. I also can't stand that our folders or collections aren't synced. Now, I have to organize my library again. I haven't tried to add a Libby book yet and I pray it's as easy as it sounds. Why we can't add a library app blows my mind. I understand not being able to add any app you want, but Libby? It would make our life easier.
What do I like about this Kindle? The color, Matcha, the size, it's very light, and 16GB of memory is more than enough. Would I recommend this to someone new to Kindle? Yes, after they read my review. I attached some photos and I am going to make a short video so you're able to see how it works and what I am explaining. **MISTAKE - i don't want to remake the video or change what I wrote. My collections were synced onto the Kindle. You have to select the 2 arrows on right of screen and select collections. That's really nice!!**
