AJ create and support the enabling conditions under which children can act on their own terms rather than being a part of the misled crowd, and the interventions are designed to put socio- economic and political rights in the hands of children and young people and create opportunities for them to proactively engage in solving social problems that they identify as important.
“Apni Jagah (Our Space)” seeks to build an atmosphere that imbibes principles of freedom of thought, adds creativity, cultural activities, skill-based learning, a sense of belongingness and collective ownership towards common spaces and common man.
It helps them think about the prevailing systems and creates opportunities for them to collectively influence policy. It gives children the space to make more informed career choices and engages the youth at the grassroots level.Children and youth are not being considered just as non-entities that are fed with information, but as human beings with their own passions, difficulties, experiences, complexities and thoughts. AJ is a space that provides them the possibility to develop their own abilities and interests.
AJ want to provide them choices to shape their future and give them opportunities to have a fulfilled life. Children who seem to be caught in poverty or distressed circumstances should get a chance to live a different life, a better life.

As a Team Leader I managed a small team of 5 members in order to raise Corporate internships for AIESEC volunteers from all across the globe. The next step was to invite them to come down to Jaipur for specific business projects created in tie-ups with Corporates across Jaipur and offer a rich cultural experience of India and help corporate grow their market in a new country.

Sheltering books was started as a initiative by me to help the homeless, under privileged, abused, disabled and marginalized children throughout the city.
I helped troubled children soothe their own pain -- within the pages of donated books.
"Reading isn't just an escape, you can learn a lot, too, and that's very important for homeless and abused children"
Through this initiative I equipped shelter homes in Jaipur with reading books for the children living there and at the same time… عرض المزيد

Know Kooda started as an initiative to build awareness among masses for responsible waste management and to promote segregation of Kitchen waste and encourage Composting through various workshops and demonstrations in Public spaces, Schools and Corporate Offices.

Pravah has been working on youth development for three decades now, I facilitated a few village exposures and workshops with them and was a part of Smile In-turnship where I was placed with an organisation in Madhya Pradesh for 8 weeks and I was working with children in the village. I was also a part of Learning Leadership Journey which helped in shaping Sheltering Books further.

I was on the International Facilitators Program with British Council and was an Active Citizen. This program enhanced my community leadership and facilitation skills to engage deeper with the communities I was working with through proper training and tools. I was also invited to talk about my work with Children and young people at Asia Youth Leadership Summit in Kolkata.
