Candid Chats

The Candid Chats program gives you the option to meet informally with a volunteer from one of our employee-led groups during your interview process.

At Amazon we remain committed to having a diverse workforce and partner network that represents the vast and diverse customers we serve around the world. We build the best for our collective customers if we understand these diverse customer sets.

Employee-led groups (ELGs) are employee-run, volunteer groups designed to offer connection and support, allowing employees to come together across businesses and locations around the world. These groups offer anyone the opportunity to build internal networks, lead service and volunteer projects, and build inclusive culture at Amazon. Each group is open to anyone from any background who chooses to volunteer.

Overview

What is a Candid Chat?

A Candid Chat is an opportunity to meet with a volunteer from one of our employee-led groups. This is a great chance to learn more about Amazon and understand our culture.

Why should I have a Candid Chat?

Changing companies or even relocating your life for a job can be overwhelming. While you’ll be able to ask your interviewers questions, we understand you might want to have more informal chats with current Amazonians and ask them about their experiences. Candid Chats gives you an opportunity to ask questions without losing interview time. Who knows, you may even make a new connection. We hope to chat with you soon!
