Not A Gentleman (Don't Date Him Book 7)
He saves her from a fate worse than hell, and in return, she ruins his life.
Not on purpose, though.
No, the men who think to rule her life don’t like that she has a champion on her side and realize the best way to get back at her is to go through him.
They find a really great way to do it, too.
They frame him for a crime he didn’t intentionally commit and sentence him to spend thirteen years in prison. As an added bonus, they take his child—the one thing that matters most to him— just to remind him that they hold all the power.
But Sage will never let them have any power over her.
That’s why, the day before he’s sentenced to prison, Sage offers the only protection she can think to give him. Her hand in marriage.
For seven years, Sage fights to get her husband-in-name-only free.
Just when she thinks she’s close, she gets the news. Her husband has died in a prison riot, leaving her free to marry another.
That’s when she decides to run.
And where does her running take her? Right into the arms of a man who was supposed to be dead.

Not a Gentleman❤️🩹
Reviewed in Australia on 14 July 2026Once again this author has ensured I read this book cover to cover, to the point I don’t feel like I took a breath devouring it🫠
Sage meets Gentry in a coffee shop, while he’s waiting for someone to show up. Unfortunately, this causes a domino effect and ultimately leads to Sage and Gentry getting married (on paper only) before Gentry is imprisoned.
A fast paced read with many different aspects and stories all happening close together. I really enjoyed it as well as all the other characters - definitely looking forward to the next books🙌 I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️🩹

I love this series and this book just adds to it for me! I love how easy they are to read and how much they draw me in to the story. Sage and Gentry knew each other prior, so when they meet again sage is shocked and also a little hurt.
But she’s always been on his team and helping him even when he was away. But whilst they come together again, it’s not short of any drama with everything going missing.
I absolutely loved this book, I couldn’t recommend more.

Loved it!
Reviewed in Australia on 14 July 2026I know I keep saying it but this series just keeps getting better and better.
Gentry and Sage drag you into their lives from page 1 and don't let you go until the end.
Lots of emotion, slow burn chemistry and few tears and a lot of chuckles.
This author loves popping out a twist and a secret life or two to add to the mix. I truly love these books and this author!

Kodie mackay5 out of 5 starsLoved them!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 July 2026Aaaaaah. I love Sage and Gentry.
Sage just wasn't dealt an easy life and even worse.. it was one she couldn't escape. Sage was kind and just authentically herself. She was also resourceful and smart.
Gentry is just a good man. A man who protected a woman when he didn't have to then continued to do so despite the difficulties that came with doing so. He was sweet and playful at times which I wasn't expecting.
I love them. The cat and mouse game moving around one another whilst doing nothing but fueling the burning inferno between them?..
hot.
I also just feel like having survived what they both did it gave them a bridge for what eventually blossomed.
I love all the snarky remarks and bickering. I loved the playful banter and teasing. I was here for the frustration and fury. I laughed, ranted and swooned. I fell in love with the characters a little bit more and I was also left curious about other faces.
This series is actually one of my top favs of Lani's and its not even finished yet. I can't wait for the next!
Also the plot twist?! What even Lani... unexpected even if it did leave me curious about his brother.

GSKM in sc5 out of 5 starsI loved it!
Reviewed in the United States on 17 July 2026This is my favorite of the series….of course, I felt that way after reading each one! This is a tale of having the wrong people in your family. She has a Mom and Dad in the mob. Dad wanted to give her away to a Sick headed mobster from another family. There was an attempted assault, a random man saw the assault and stopped it unfortunately, the creep died and the mob saw that the good guy went to jail. Years later, the mob makes his time in jail a nightmare. By some miracle, an organization helped him break out of prison and relocate with a new identity. The young woman is also brought to the same town as the relocated man…this is such a good story with interesting characters and pets. Highly recommend this story! HEA, no cliffhanger, no cheating. Give this one a try!

Jeanette5 out of 5 starsI had a Neo but it was a cat named Georgie
Reviewed in the United States on 3 August 2026I easily fell in love with this story because of the animals. I love them all but I definitely favor cats. Cats are really trick-sey (sp) lol! Anyhow I enjoyed Gentry with his crazy and fearless woman Sage. They were hilarious and horny. They made me laugh. They storyline is so familiar with children and that's all I'm gonna say about it. Just read it! You'll love all characters and setting for everything in the story. Signing out Specialist Jeanette US Army.
