Aaaaaah. I love Sage and Gentry.

Sage just wasn't dealt an easy life and even worse.. it was one she couldn't escape. Sage was kind and just authentically herself. She was also resourceful and smart.

Gentry is just a good man. A man who protected a woman when he didn't have to then continued to do so despite the difficulties that came with doing so. He was sweet and playful at times which I wasn't expecting.

I love them. The cat and mouse game moving around one another whilst doing nothing but fueling the burning inferno between them?..

hot.

I also just feel like having survived what they both did it gave them a bridge for what eventually blossomed.

I love all the snarky remarks and bickering. I loved the playful banter and teasing. I was here for the frustration and fury. I laughed, ranted and swooned. I fell in love with the characters a little bit more and I was also left curious about other faces.

This series is actually one of my top favs of Lani's and its not even finished yet. I can't wait for the next!

Also the plot twist?! What even Lani... unexpected even if it did leave me curious about his brother.

This series goes from strength to strength. I love each new couple more than the last. This is Gentry and Sage's story. We get to learn their past and why there is a little hostility in their present. And we get to see just how hard she is willing to work to save her dog Neo and earn his trust back after the abuse he suffered earlier in the series.

These two have history which predates Apollo's jailbreak. A chance circumstance brought them together and tied their lives unexpectedly. Sage has lived for years believing the man she married for safety is dead. Gentry has quietly pined for the woman he saved. Upon setting up his new identity he ensures a role for Sage on his new life. And they get their real chance at falling in love.

Sage is an incredible character. She seems lonely and her new start brings her friends and an extended MC family. Gentry brings her a safety she hasnt had the luxury of feeling. And you get the sense there isnt much he won't do to keep her protected.

Another great addition to the series filled with unbeatable chemistry, spicy encounters, suspense, trust building, healing and the signature humour that defines a LLV romance.

This one was a ride!

Sage, or Herb as he liked to call her was getting set up by her parents and she felt like she had no way out but Gentry turned out to be there at the right time to save her when she needed him most and then all the domino's started falling.

Gentry has being doing all the right things to try and get to see his son but when he helps Sage things turn from bad to worse for him.

Lani Lynn Vale knows how to get my attention from the very start and always has me happy at the end!

This is the 7th book in this phenomenal series, and this is Gentry and Sage’s story.

Sage’s family in the is the Irish mob, and she is just a means for them, while Gently saves her on the worst day of her life. Gentry ends up framed for a crime he did not intentionally commit and sentenced to prison. Sage proposes marriage to Gentry so her family name could protect him in prison. Sage is shocked when Gentry, whom she was informed died in a prison riot, shows up.

This is a well written action packed, emotional roller coaster, with found family, friendships, tension, lies, secrets, drama, marriage of convenience, new identity, mystery, suspense, intrigue, grumpy / sunshine, opposites attract, enemies / lovers, guilt, revelations, healing, humour, witty banter, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, twisted, and unpredictable, addictive page turner.

I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

This is my favorite of the series….of course, I felt that way after reading each one! This is a tale of having the wrong people in your family. She has a Mom and Dad in the mob. Dad wanted to give her away to a Sick headed mobster from another family. There was an attempted assault, a random man saw the assault and stopped it unfortunately, the creep died and the mob saw that the good guy went to jail. Years later, the mob makes his time in jail a nightmare. By some miracle, an organization helped him break out of prison and relocate with a new identity. The young woman is also brought to the same town as the relocated man…this is such a good story with interesting characters and pets. Highly recommend this story! HEA, no cliffhanger, no cheating. Give this one a try!

I loved this book. All the characters were great. Storyline was awesome and I love all these guys! Can’t wait for the rest of the series!!

Sage and Gentry....I really got so emotionally involved with these two...they truly resonated with me. I hated when I reached the final page....it's just so darn hard to let go.... I really enjoyed this book, and feel kind of wrung out after I hit The End. Highly recommended. Kudos to the author for rocking my world once again.

I easily fell in love with this story because of the animals. I love them all but I definitely favor cats. Cats are really trick-sey (sp) lol! Anyhow I enjoyed Gentry with his crazy and fearless woman Sage. They were hilarious and horny. They made me laugh. They storyline is so familiar with children and that's all I'm gonna say about it. Just read it! You'll love all characters and setting for everything in the story. Signing out Specialist Jeanette US Army.

So enjoyable. So much honesty in this book. I did find couple of things odd though. Like how all the other nurses at the hospital were mean and lazy . .Also the fact Sage hadn't made any fiends.

I really liked most all of the characters in this book. But the big plus for me was the there were no crazy illnesses plaguing the main characters. Buy the book, kickback, and just enjoy a good story.
