Merchants say this is a high‑value automation tool that saves many hours weekly by handling repetitive tasks like tagging, metafields, inventory, collections, SEO, and notifications. They find the visual workflow builder intuitive yet powerful for complex rules, especially with AI/Sidekick to build flows from natural language. After a brief learning curve, many call it essential as a central automation hub that improves operations and replaces multiple paid tools.
Sidekick is not super clear on how this all works. Maybe this is a sidekick issue, but the integration needs a little work. I had it create a workflow for me but it didn't integrate somehow, and I had to rebuild it myself. I get a lot of guesses and wrong answers about what can and cannot be done by Flow.
I still don't know if added steps to the journey will get sent to people in the middle of the journey.
Thanks. Overall very good product!!
Flow is very useful, but the workflow testing feature needs an option to manually enter or search for a specific order number. At the moment it only shows a small selection of recent events. I had a known order that perfectly matched the conditions I was building, but I couldn't select it because it wasn't included in the recent events list. Being able to enter an order number and use that order as test data would make building and verifying workflows much easier.
Hi, thanks for the review. You can do exactly that through an improvement released earlier this year: https://screenshot.click/29-40-erq3f-zau6h.png
In the test panel, you "Add event" and then "Create event". There you'll see an option to choose an order.
Occasional glitches such as the app deleting a draft meaning having to start again but otherwise it's a very intuitive, useful tool.
