PHNOM PENH -- Yorn Sopheak lost contact with her husband, Leam Sampov Meas, on July 26, two days into the recent five-day conflict with Thailand. Meas worked for the border police and was stationed at the An Ses border crossing in Preah Vihear province, one of a dozen locations that witnessed heavy fighting.
