🧬 According to R&D World, Swiss biotech financings hit CHF 2.5B in 2024, with H1 2025 startup VC reaching record levels. In an exclusive conversation with our CEO Christof Kloepper, he highlights the region’s resilience during global biotech headwinds, driven by strategic lab expansions, multi-tenant innovation hubs and world-class infrastructure. BeOne Medicines, Roche and Novartis anchor the ecosystem, while programs like BaseLaunch connect startups to mentorship, capital and expertise.  La force du collectif au service des PME jurassiennes Les "Ateliers Collectifs" regroupent 9 chefs d’entreprise qui se retrouvent chaque mois pour faire émerger des solutions utiles aux PME et au développement du Jura.  Ce concept d’intelligence collective a été initié par Sébastien MEUNIER, directeur de la transformation industrielle chez Basel Area Business & Innovation, et est co-animé par Véronique Martin et Estelle Corbel. Il a insisté sur l’importance d’avancer par étapes et d’adapter les modèles d’affaires pour aider les PME à adopter ces technologies. 👉 Franck Vermet, CEO de HAPSTER et membre de la cohort du i4challenge a montré comment l’IA transforme le savoir-faire en patrimoine. Sa solution capture gestes et méthodes pour transmettre l’expertise, réduire le temps d’apprentissage, valoriser les équipes et limiter le turnover. 👉 Francesco Crivelli a présenté une approche « de la donnée à la décision » avec des systèmes experts. Talking about Basel’s appeal, CEO Christof Kloepper shares : "It’s really a nerdy, science-based city. I've never seen one that's so much based on science. There’s a lot of trust in hard and good science in Switzerland, but particularly in Basel.
