EXCLUSIVE: Universal’s Wicked: For Good has crossed the $400M mark globally, now with more than $407M through Wednesday worldwide. Of that, $278.1M is from domestic and $129M from the international box office.

The Jon M. Chu-directed pic is the 15th movie of 2025 to reach the four-century milestone and the 12th among Hollywood titles.

Among records the Cynthia Erivo-Ariana Grande starrer set in its debut frame are the biggest global and domestic opening for a movie based on a Broadway musical; the biggest opening weekend of 2025 in the UK, where it was Universal’s third-biggest launch ever; and the biggest live-action musical opening ever in Australia.

The Top 10 Wicked: For Good markets to date are UK ($44.5M), Australia ($14.5M), Germany ($6.8M), Korea ($5.7M), Mexico ($5.6M), Philippines ($5M), Netherlands ($3.9M), Spain ($3.6M), France ($3.5M) and Brazil ($3.4M). 

China is still to release on December 24, while Japan takes flight on March 6.
