The demand for more sustainable road freight solutions is on the rise – and we’re proud to be part of this development. Yesterday, we participated at the Danish Ministry of Transport’s conference on the green transition of road transport, which brought together transport authorities from across Europe and businesses committed to making supply chains more sustainable. At the event, our Regional Head of Sustainability for European road freight, Alexander Bjørn Jensen, gave a presentation about the key drivers for the green transition and how DSV is working to decarbonise road transport through the deployment of several technologies, including battery electric vehicles (BEVs). “Phasing out fossil fuels is an important part of our decarbonisation roadmap at DSV, and although the electric vehicle technology is still maturing, it represents a promising path towards CO2 emission reduction,” he says and adds: “To support this development, we’re operating electric trucks across a wide range of our operations, to meet the varied needs of our customers. Our BEV fleet is supporting everything from distribution in cities like Singapore and London to longer-distance transports in countries like Germany and the UAE.” With the acquisition of Schenker, we have significantly strengthened our fleet of heavy-duty BEVs, and we continue to expand it month by month. But this progress is not ours alone. “Growing our electric fleet is only possible thanks to our strong partnerships across the supply chain,” Alexander Bjørn Jensen emphasises. “We rely on manufacturers investing in the technology, hauliers willing to deploy it, infrastructure providers building the charging infrastructure and transport buyers committed to decarbonising their road transport. We’re proud to collaborate with such partners who share our vision for a greener future.”

As part of our strategic partnership with UNICEF we continue to support their mission to deliver humanitarian aid, wherever and whenever it's needed. Because of the ongoing security situation, commercial flights were limited, so we chartered a plane from Panama to Haiti to ensure aid reached those in need. On board: 35 tons of life-saving UNICEF medical supplies to clinics across West, Artibonite, and Northeast Haiti to help treat everything from dehydration and malaria to maternal complications and skin infections. The impact of these supplies in numbers: Around 21,000 - 22,000 children are receiving targeted treatments, like ORS/Zinc, deworming, and potentially Azithromycin. And 10,000 more children are benefiting indirectly from clinic supplies and other medications. Over 150 women are being supported with maternal health kits, and 1,000 more are due to benefit from the treatment of common conditions. This is what happens when logistics excellence is multiplied. By integrating our logistics capabilities with UNICEF's humanitarian logistics resources and supplies, we strengthen efficient delivery of life-saving supplies to remote areas and support children wherever they are, turning urgency into impact.

What is the future of pharmaceutical value chain technology? Is it just a matter of temperature, or is there more to it? Transporting pharmaceutical products by air is a complex process. With multiple touchpoints across the supply chain, even minor temperature changes can compromise product integrity and patient safety. But temperature control is only part of the equation. Successful pharma transport also relies on controlled processes, trained professionals and close collaboration across industries. Last week, a team of experts from our healthcare vertical explored this topic at the 2025 Pharma Logistics Masterclass, hosted by Pharma.Aero. Here, Vice President, Healthcare, Mikkel Bøttcher presented DSV’s perspective on the future of pharma transport technology alongside our partner QProducts & Services. “It was a pleasure to contribute to the masterclass and showcase DSV’s approach to pharma logistics through a real-world case. By exploring passive vs. active solutions, shifting focus from equipment to validated processes and rethinking routes, we found ways to reduce both costs and carbon emissions – without compromising product integrity,” says Mikkel Bøttcher and continues: “This was made possible by our temperature-controlled air charter network, which enables ground-level supervision, tarmac control and GDP-compliant hubs. With this setup, we ensure that shipments stay within the required temperature ranges, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. And it’s this combination of precision and flexibility that allows us to deliver real value to our healthcare customers.” To learn more about our healthcare solutions, visit https://ow.ly/bZ1250X0KE6 #Healthcare #PLMC #PharmaLogisticsMasterclass

Times are busy right now across our global organisation, especially with the ongoing integration of Schenker. Now, more than ever, it’s important that we stay close to our customers and ensure that we continue to meet their evolving needs. That’s why this week’s customer event in Luxembourg was so special. Here, we invited a number of our customers to our facilities at Luxembourg Airport, so we could step away from day-to-day operations and dive into the many opportunities that are currently present in the world of air freight. An important focus for the event was how DSV – by joining forces with Schenker – can now support our customers to an even greater extent and add more value to their operations and supply chains through better operational control, reduced transit times and access to a larger, higher-quality capacity network. A key highlight at the event was the introduction of our upgraded Air Direct network, which has also been bolstered by the integration of Schenker. It means a lot to us to engage with the people who use our solutions every day, and we would like to thank everyone who attended the event for some great dialogues. These interactions are a clear reminder of why we do what we do.

Once completed, the site will offer more than 72,000 square metres of warehousing space, equipped with advanced e-commerce distribution and value-added services, which will enable us to deliver even more comprehensive services to our customers – particularly those with order fulfillment operations. Josh Summers, President of DSV North America, said: “Today is a big day for DSV, with the continued growth of our business as showcased by this state-of-the-art facility. This warehouse is ideally located for distribution and fulfillment across the U.S., which will solidify our ability to serve clients in the industrial and consumer products sectors in particular.”

Do you think air cargo is all about aircraft and fuel? Think again. Discussions around air cargo efficiency often focus on aircraft type, routing and fuel optimisation. However, the choice of airline pallets or air containers, also known as Unit Load Devices (ULDs), is equally crucial. So, why do ULDs matter more than you might think? • Designed for precision: ULDs are designed to fit the fuselage of each aircraft type, making loading and unloading faster, smoother and more efficient. • Adaptable: Containers come in various shapes and sizes – often refrigerated, airtight, side-opening or ventilated – while pallets (usually made of aluminium and used with nets or mesh) contour to the aircraft’s interior for optimal space utilisation. • Uniquely identifiable: Every ULD carries a 10-character code indicating its type, dimensions, contour, serial number and owner – all critical for precise tracking and logistics management. Want to learn more about the importance of ULDs as well as the specifications for the most common types? Visit: https://ow.ly/63nA50WJpQ0

Dangerous Goods? More common than you think. From industrial chemicals to everyday items like perfumes or paints, dangerous goods can pose serious risks if not handled correctly. To ensure safety for people and cargo, the United Nations (UN) developed a global classification system. This system underpins most regional, national and international regulations, detailing how dangerous goods must be packaged, marked and labelled to facilitate safe transport. The UN system defines 9 classes of dangerous goods, each based on the type of hazard they present: from flammable liquids to toxic substances and corrosives. Understanding these classes is essential for anyone involved in logistics, supply chain management or compliance. Whether you're shipping lithium batteries or cleaning products, knowing the classification helps prevent accidents, protect people and ensure regulatory compliance. Because safety doesn’t happen by accident. It starts with knowledge. Want to dive deeper? Major milestone achieved: DSV and Schenker colleagues have officially joined forces in the first two countries! After months of close collaboration and thorough preparations, we’re proud to announce that the local integration of Schenker has officially kicked off – starting with Denmark and the United States, where the integration will happen sequentially. This means that the legal integration has now taken place, and our DSV and Schenker teams in the two countries can begin working together under the DSV brand. As a result, we can truly unlock the potential of our combined strengths, offering even greater value, expertise and services to our customers. Many local integrations still lie ahead, with more than 80 additional countries set to unite under the DSV banner in the coming time. But with this milestone, we have entered the next stage of the Schenker integration, which is cause for celebration. And celebrate is exactly what our teams did! Take a look at how our Danish and US teams welcomed their new Schenker colleagues ⬇️
