strings.lastIndexAny() function

strings.lastIndexAny() returns the index of the last instance of any specified characters in a string. If none of the specified characters are present, the function returns -1.

Function type signature
(chars: string, v: string) => int

Parameters

v

(Required) String value to search.

chars

(Required) Characters to search for.

Examples

Find the index of the last occurrence of characters from a string

import "sampledata"
import "strings"

sampledata.string()
    |> map(fn: (r) => ({r with _value: strings.lastIndexAny(v: r._value, chars: "g7t")}))
