Enhancement
I do a lot of railway photography, so find myself editing and uploading, and then tagging photos on trains. We all know trains have pretty bas internet, and Lychee has a few drawbacks in these situations, which I believe could be improved.
Don't reload images on hover, or after being tagged
In my experience, images like to randomly turn blank and reload when you hover over them, or when you tag them. This can be really annoying, especially when your not done with the photos, and then wastes precious signal to load ones further in your library.
Show the lower quality thumbnail that's already loaded, while the main image loads
Instead of showing no image, or half an image (like below), show the thumbnail image. I am not the greatest HTML artist ever, but I always imagined you could just show the already loaded thumbnail behind the main image, so while it loads you can still see something - not the best, but a simple solution. This is especially useful for when browsing through loads of images, but the icons are too small.
