• build_manifest.py creates ARTIFACT_MANIFEST.csv with file sizes, SHA-256 checksums, categories, and release roles. It writes a temporary file and replaces the prior manifest only after all hashes succeed.
• validate_release.py checks JSONL parsing, benchmark and response counts, required paper artifacts, file sizes, and manifest checksums. It streams large JSONL files to keep memory use bounded.

Both tools append progress to the repository-level live_console.log, which is ignored by version control.
