I've built govindasmontreal.ca with it in a day - and I can definitely say it's best CMS I ever worked with, thank you so much for your work. I will be using that since now on in every small website project.
I used to use prose.io, but it stalled.
Compared to decap CMS with errors and shady docs, to sanity which is not very sane, it is just perfect fit.
I wish there was a bit better doc for block field and i18n.
Also - it would be ideal if there was a way to deploy to github pages, not via vercel or some other 3rd party.

Re: GitHub Pages

A few things:

• You can deploy your site wherever you want: Vercel, GitHub Pages, Cloudflare Pages, Netlify, your owner server... The only thing that is on Vercel right now is the CMS itself.
• There's a feature we'll be adding over the summer that allows you to see the build status for your GitHub Pages/Cloudflare Pages/Vercel/Netlify build in the CMS
• I'm migrating away from Next.js and hope to have a TanStack Router + Hono version of the CMS that you can deploy on Cloudflare Pages (or Netlify, etc).

That's great news. If you don't mind elaborating that a bit more in docs - how to deploy to github itself, that would be perfect!

Great move, I was refraining myself from using it because of next.js. Do you really need a public API? Tanstack start has server function if you don't, and for light api it still has server routes (that would remove the hono dependency).
