When in Projects 2.0, and we are trying to create new fields in Table view, we have the following options:

It would be amazing if we could also create a people's field, as "Asignees" currently work. This can have several applications, such as "Requester" for discussion cards, or "Person of Contact" for stories within organizations.
We could even take this one step further and create some automated workflows that when a card is added, the person who is created gets automatically assigned to any of these type of fields.
