Jetbrains plugin messes up fonts after continuous usage

This has been happening a while on multiple machines. Using the copilot chat in Webstorm, after using the plugin (or just having the side chat window open) for a while, my fonts will suddenly change on the editor or terminal window and appear corrupted. Sometimes I can restart webstorm and it fixes it, other times I've actually had to change the theme to something else and back to get it to reset. This happens with multiple themes (currently using Darcula). In my primary editor window, I'll lose the Jetbrains Mono and it will suddenly start using a serif font, still readable but what happened to my font? Note the font settings in Config for the IDE don't change, they just get ignored.

I've never seen this behavior on any other plugin. I can use the IDE for weeks with no issue if I'm not using copilot, but once I open the window, within 30-60 minutes this will start happening. Closing the window doesn't restore it, once it's corrupt, I have to fully restart the IDE and potentially play around with themes to get it back to normal.

This started happening for me after the update to copilot extension this morning - it's incredibly annoying and i'm considering just changing IDE

For me, the new 2025 intelliJ version fixed this issue.
