@NormalizerXD, to get the Galaxy Brain achievement badge, you need to fulfill the following criteria:

Discussions should be in a public repository

1. Get marked as answers to 2 or more questions
2. The questions cannot be asked by you. In short, you cannot answer your own questions, those do not count.
3. In fact, answering your own questions could prevent the achievement from displaying in your profile page.
4. My advice here is to perhaps scour a few discussion forums, and answer a few questions based on your own knowledge/expertise. 5. Perhaps if someone finds your answer helpful, he/she would mark your answer and thus help you to unlock the badge.

Just wanted to chime in here and share that, because of an influx of users creating low quality, nonsensical or spam posts in the Community with the aim of earning certain Achievements, we’ve made the difficult decision to disable the ability to earn Achievements in our Community.

Note that this change does not affect your ability to earn badges in other projects and communities across GitHub. This change only applies to GitHub’s Community Discussions.

1. What these badges are

• Open quality pull requests and follow contribution guidelines.
• Sponsor or support open-source projects you care about.

5. Community rules to remember

• Don’t spam the Community for badges. Provide real value — helpful answers and well-reviewed PRs.
• This thread is for showcasing profiles (screenshots + short descriptions) — keep it community-friendly and non-promotional.
