I tried the follow search once:
https://github.com/search?q=gammy%20color&type=repositories

Result: 429 error. (Whatever that is.)

I repeated the search and got this:

_Whoa there!
You have exceeded a secondary rate limit.

Please wait a few minutes before you try again;
in some cases this may take up to an hour._

I checked. It's not April 1st. What on earth is going on please?

This is a real problem. I can't even do basic searches for keywords in project names without receiving this message. Your rate settings are way too low. If I search more than two or three words in like the span of ten minutes, I get banned. I'm not behind a VPN or a proxy, there's no trickery going on here, just basic web requests being sent from everyday users trying to access github projects and content.
