Hands on keyboard or eyes on monitor?

Hey guys, glad to see ya there!
iam newbie, but i learned something i wanna share it with you to see if am i wrong or right.
which course we attend really doesnt matter that much, as far as i know if i do 50 lines code it worths more than watching 2000 lines of code which somebody else is writing.
am i right? or wrong? open my eyes

I think it depends on your experience level.
If I'm a beginner, I think it's much more important to write 50 lines of code than to look at someone else's 2000 lines of code,
If I'm more advanced, I think it's more important to be able to look at someone else's 2000 lines of code and understand and absorb their intent than it is for me to write 50 lines of code.
Of course, not everyone will think like me, but whatever you do, do it well, right? 😅
