I ran into a similar issue recently when I mistakenly created a private repository. Private repos don’t show up on your public GitHub profile overview, so that might be the reason. Also, GitHub only shows repos in your overview if they have some activity like a README or a recent commit. So make sure you’ve added something to it. You can also check your profile settings and see what’s showing under the repositories section. |

If you created the repository as "Private," it won't be publicly visible on your profile overview unless you explicitly pin it (see below) or if you're logged in and viewing your own profile. Public repositories are generally shown by default. Sometimes, if you've just created a repository and haven't added any files (like a README.md, code, or made any commits), it might not immediately show up in prominent places on your profile. GitHub often prioritizes repositories with activity. If your entire GitHub profile is set to "private," it hides a lot of your activity, including your repositories, from others. While you would still see them when logged in, others wouldn't. |

I created a repository on my github profile, but it doesn't show up in the overview. Is there a setting I can use to fix this?
