A good first step towards that would be to present a roadmap view for a list of projects. For instance, see https://github.com/danielgblanco/community/projects?query=is%3Aopen. This already has start/target dates from the underlying projects, and their status. Getting a roadmap view of that would be a great addition. |

Possibly related. As a manger having to supervise several projects that are not always related, I would like a way to filter across projects, for example, to get a list of all tasks in a "waiting/blocked" column of the board that are assigned to me, ordered by due dates. Currently I would have to check the individual project one by one. |

I'm a big fan of the new GitHub Projects roadmap feature and am eager to integrate it more deeply into our workflow. However, one limitation is holding us back: the absence of an organization-wide roadmap view that displays all projects across teams, complete with start and end dates.
Tools like Linear offer this functionality, providing a consolidated timeline view of multiple teams' projects. This capability is invaluable for organization-wide project managers, as it offers quick visibility into all ongoing initiatives, their milestones, and progress, facilitating better tracking and coordination.
Currently, GitHub Projects allows for roadmap views within individual projects, but there's to my knowledge no native feature to aggregate these into a unified organizational timeline. While creating a centralized project that includes items from multiple repositories is a potential workaround, it becomes cumbersome and doesn't scale well for larger organizations.
Proposed Solution:
Introduce an organization-level roadmap view in GitHub Projects that:
This feature would significantly enhance visibility across the organization, streamline project tracking, and align cross-functional teams more effectively.
I believe this addition would make GitHub Projects a more robust tool for project management at scale.
Thank you for considering this request.
