This feature is greatly needed. There is an issue where only vulnerabilities belonging to supported ecosystems can be registered in the GitHub Advisory Database. In reality, many researchers publish advisories through the repository Security tab. I kindly ask you to actively consider implementing this feature. |

Currently, GitHub doesn't showcase security advisories that users have been credited for on their profiles. Adding this feature would highlight valuable security contributions and provide recognition for users who help identify vulnerabilities.
This would:
Similar to how GitHub displays repositories, contributions, and achievements, security advisory credits could be presented as a dedicated section on user profiles.
