For issue-only boards, it would be great to automatically move an Issue to 'in progress' when closed by a draft PR, and to 'in review' when closed by a standard PR. Thanks. |

Hi GitHub team,
I'd like to suggest adding new default workflow triggers to GitHub Projects (V2), specifically for pull request state changes:
These states represent key phases in a typical development workflow and having them as built-in triggers would greatly streamline project tracking—especially for teams using Projects as a lightweight kanban or sprint board.
Currently, these events aren't available in the default workflows, and implementing them requires custom GitHub Actions and API usage, which isn't always possible due to permission or organizational restrictions.
It would be extremely helpful to include these as standard options alongside existing events like "Code change requested" or "Code change approved"
Thanks for the awesome work on Projects V2!
Best,
Ophélie
