Subscribed to Github Copilot Pro but unable to use the premium models

Today, I subscribed to the GitHub Copilot Pro version for a 30-day free trial. After clicking on "Activate Now", it takes me to the web version of the GitHub Copilot Chat, where it shows the message that "GitHub Copilot Pro for 30 days is activated", and then when I go to the JetBrains IDE, it does not show premium models. I have only one GitHub Account, so there is no way that I might have subscribed to a different account. I have raised a ticket in GitHub support, though, around 8 hours have passed but it is in the open state.
Has anyone faced an issue like this?

1.Check Versions
Make sure your JetBrains IDE is updated to 2024.3 or later, and the Copilot plugin is version 1.7.x or newer. You can update both through the JetBrains Marketplace.

2.Re-authenticate
Go to Settings > GitHub Copilot, sign out of your GitHub account, then sign back in. Restart the IDE afterward — sometimes that’s all it takes.

3.Clear Cache
In the IDE, try File > Invalidate Caches / Restart. This can fix weird behavior or stale settings.

4.Check the Logs
Go to Help > Show Log in Finder/Explorer and look for any Copilot-related errors (like token secret not defined). If something looks off, you can share it with GitHub Support.

5.Give it some time
Sometimes, it takes a day or two for GitHub to sync your Copilot Pro subscription with JetBrains. You can double-check your status at GitHub > Settings > Billing > Subscriptions.

I tried these approaches. I waited for around 12 hours to see does it gets activated or not, but it didn't. I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and invalidating the cache 2~3 times, but it didn't work. It seems like issue is from there side only

Yes, I’ve seen a few others encounter a similar issue when starting the GitHub Copilot Pro trial, especially regarding integration with JetBrains IDEs.

Here are a few things you might want to check:

Ensure you’re signed into the same GitHub account inside your JetBrains IDE (go to Settings > GitHub Copilot > Account) that you used to activate the trial on the website.

Update your JetBrains IDE and the Copilot plugin to the latest version. Sometimes the plugin doesn’t detect the Pro status if it's outdated.

Restart your IDE after activation — it may need a fresh session to pick up the updated subscription status.

Check whether the "Chat" panel is enabled in your IDE. Go to View > Tool Windows > GitHub Copilot to open the Copilot Chat window.

Lastly, try signing out and signing back in inside the JetBrains IDE. That can sometimes help refresh the subscription state.

Since you’ve already raised a GitHub Support ticket, that’s great. They might take a little time but usually respond within 24–48 hours.

This might be a glitch, happened to me before a year, I raised a ticket in Github Support section and got resolved within two days

Yes, a glitch only because out of nowhere, now, on the GitHub profile, it is showing the notification banner as Payment is due, please clear it.
