Project board bottom bar vanishes if a long item detail is open

When you are on a Projects board, the bottom bar (with the + Add item buttons) vanishes as soon as you open the detail of a long item on the right side.

With a short item open on the side, you see the bottom line is visible:

With a long item open to the side, it's not (there is no scroll bar whatsoever):

Of course, it's not a very big deal, but in my daily usage, I realize that I always have an item open on the side, so this makes adding a new item possible or not depending on the content of the side panel.
