Recently, we have identified two unauthorized copies of the MiniPyEngine project that violate the MIT license and present misleading technical information:
These repositories use the name “MiniPyEngine” and imitate the structure and documentation of the original project without proper attribution or license inclusion. They contain no actual code, yet make exaggerated claims that mislead users and damage the integrity of the open-source ecosystem.
Please do not trust the information presented in these repositories.
The original creator of MiniPyEngine is
EgeOnderX.The Chinese edition was developed collaboratively by @EgeOnderX and @OwnderDuck.
A DMCA takedown notice has been filed against these repositories due to license violations and misrepresentation.
Remember: MIT License ≠ unrestricted use. It requires proper attribution and inclusion of the license text.
Using someone’s work without credit is not open source—it’s theft.
