The reason why you may be unable to find the role menu is because it appears only for repositories owned by organizations. If it's a personal repository, there are only two permission levels - owner and collaborators. What could be causing it in such case is branch protection rules, or they may have their SSH keys tied to a different github profile if they have multiple accounts. Alternatively, they may be trying to push to a fork instead of the original repo if they made one for some reason accidentally. Edit: Also, make sure they accepted the collaboration request. If you added them, but they haven't accepted yet, then that could also be a reason. |

Hello, I am working on a small game project with a friend on GitHub, but we've encountered the problem of him not being able to update the repository due to not having write access.
I understand I should be able to fix it on the collaborators in manage access, but everything says to open the "role menu", but I don't know where it is, since everything describes it as being in the box! Can someone help me with this please?
