Hi, Your usage numbers look normal, so it doesn’t seem like you did anything wrong. Charges like that are usually from the subscription billing cycle, not from going over the request limit. The “first month free” also doesn’t always apply depending on region or account type. The amount you got charged looks like a prorated fee, which happens if the subscription started mid-cycle. Best thing you can do is open a ticket with GitHub Support so they can check your billing details directly. If it was a mistake, they usually fix it fast. Hope it gets cleared up. |

I subscribed to Copilot Pro on 12 Oct 2025. My usage has been within the allowed limits:
There is no other GitHub product usage on this account.
Despite this, I have been billed $9.33 around 14th Nov, 2025.
I need clarification on, why a charge was applied despite staying within the quota.
Please advise.
