Unable to verify github education through multiple attempts

Hi everyone,

Update: i had to switch from Iphone X to Iphone 16pro cam to capture the letter which i was displaying on a monitor and using back camera. It got approved!

I have tried to get the github education multiple time with a letter with my uni letter head and courses enrolled in. My name on the letter matches with my accounts name and billing. I have set the MFA logged in again and still it gets rejected. For the proof of evidence the portal doesnt allow file upload and i need to capture a picture so here im not sure if this rejection is due to the pictures not being captured clearly. Is there any way i could upload my evidence or any other suggestions is appropriated

I'm having the same problem! Very frustrating!! (First, a document with my college's letterhead, lol! The last time I got an actual letter was when I was promoted, five years ago.) I tried taking a screen grab of my current semester courses, which includes the college's logo and my name, and I'm getting an automated email saying they can't read it. The letter says I can submit multiple documents, but my only option seems to be to take a picture with the computer's webcam. I'm commenting here because I also need help. HELP! If they went to my college's web page, they'd see me there!

It is indeed impossible to send a photo from a digital file. I am also experiencing this issue. My identification is digital, and my webcam is unable to capture the data with sufficient quality. Why can we no longer attach a file?

Hi @zizigoloo,

Unfortunately, the upload option isn't always available and manual reviews aren't provided so you have to submit a live photo using your device's camera.

If the photo is blurry, try again until it looks good as also indicated in the Student Developer Pack Application FAQs:

Your first and last name, complete school name, and a date demonstrating current academic affiliation must appear in your document.
Make sure the image is clear and easy to read; if it looks blurry, please take a new photo. 👈

Make sure to fill in your billing info and GitHub profile with your full name exactly as it appears on your academic transcript. Then log out and log back into GitHub before reapplying, because the application system gets stuck in a loop even after the required information has been updated.

You can also try submitting the application from your phone.
