GitHub Education Benefits Not Activated After Verification

Hi everyone,

Hello GitHub Education Team,

I’m contacting you regarding my GitHub Education application. I recently received a confirmation stating that my academic status has been successfully verified and that my Education benefits would be activated within 72 hours.

It has now been more than 72 hours, but I still don’t have access to the Student Developer Pack or the Copilot Pro offer. My account doesn’t show any active Education benefits.

Could you please review my case and help activate the benefits associated with my verified student status?

Hey man, the same thing happened to me a few days ago and I managed to talk to Github.

I was trying to figure out how to contact them for this issue and I went to this link and sent the problem there. In 15 minutes they gave me a response and reviewed the problem. Try this :)

Don't worry, that's because your benefits aren't available yet, you'll get a PRO badge on your profile once available:

The waiting time may vary depending on different factors, such as the volume of requests; it usually takes a few days, but sometimes it can take a little longer, even a couple of weeks.

Once available, you can claim your Copilot PRO offer on this signup link.

To redeem others benefits, go to the pack offers page, scroll down to the "All offers" section and select any offer that suits you.

In case you encounter a problem claiming any offer, I recommend you raise a ticket here, select "I am a verified student having trouble redeeming my Global Campus offers" and explain your issue.
