Hello,

I was charged around $10 for GitHub Copilot Pro even though my plan is still in the free trial period. I cancelled the trial before the renewal date, so this charge should not have happened.

I kindly request a refund for the amount deducted.

This is community forum so I guess your problem wont be solved here , you need different approach try contacting github support. You should not rely on the community forum for billing issues, as GitHub staff rarely process refunds there Instead Try these steps:

Go to GitHub Support: https://support.github.com/contact
Choose “Billing and payments” → “GitHub Copilot”.
Include the following details in the support ticket:
GitHub username and associated email
Date of charge and amount
Confirmation that the trial was canceled before renewal
A request for a refund
This will route the issue to GitHub’s billing team, who can verify the account and issue a refund if appropriate.
