Request for Assistance Regarding GitHub Education Verification Issue

Dear Community and GitHub Education Team,

I am writing to request assistance with my GitHub Education verification, as my application has repeatedly failed despite following all the instructions. I am incredibly frustrated with the automated response system, which has not resolved my issue nor provided any means to contact a support representative. After several attempts, I still have no clear guidance on what is preventing my verification from succeeding.

I have already updated my GitHub billing information to include my full legal name exactly as it appears in my academic documentation.

Please note that I am currently a PhD student at National Taiwan University and a visiting scholar at Texas A&M University, a position I will hold until July 2026. Therefore, I would like my GitHub Education affiliation to be recognized under my original academic institution.

I am attaching the following documents as a photo:
• Photo 1: Certification of Enrollment at National Taiwan University
• Photo 2: DS-2019 for my visiting scholar appointment at Texas A&M University

However, the system still rejects my review of the case and does not allow me to contact their help center. The automated system has not been able to resolve my situation and has caused significant difficulty.

Hi @ariapoy,

Make sure to fill in your billing info and GitHub profile with your full name exactly as it appears on your academic transcript. Then log out and log back into GitHub before reapplying, because the application system gets stuck in a loop even after the required information has been updated.

If you still get rejected, submit the application using another device, such as a smartphone or another PC.

If none of the above works, I recommend you contact support by opening a ticket here, select "Other" and explain your problem.
