Applied to Github Education while already a member already

Hi everyone,

So I have been a Github Education member for about a year or so. I was trying to access my benefits and it said that I'm not a member in my Github account settings. So I applied again, and it says that my benefits will be available in 72 hours.
But the catch is that on https://education.github.com/pack I already see myself as a member and I can access the benefits.

Hi,
It is normal for the education pack dashboard and the github account settings page to get out of sync sometimes. if the pack page shows you as an active member and you can access the benefits, then your account is already verified. the not a member message in settings is just outdated status data.
since you reapplied, the system will refresh your verification in the next 72 hours. no action needed on your side unless access stops working.

Student benefits last for two years, after which you'll need to re-verify your student status. You can check the duration of your benefits in your Payment information settings under "Coupon".

After approval, the waiting time may vary depending on different factors, such as the volume of requests; it usually takes a few days, but sometimes it can take a little longer, even a couple of weeks.

Once benefits become available, you can claim your Copilot PRO offer on this signup link.

To redeem others benefits, go to the pack offers page, scroll down to the "All offers" section and select any offer that suits you.

In case you encounter a problem claiming any offer, I recommend you raise a ticket here, select "I am a verified student having trouble redeeming my Global Campus offers" and explain your issue.
