Page goes to Copilot when clicking "Start an application"

Hi everyone,

I found that when I click the "Start an application" button, the page goes to the Copilot pages, not the application form. I didn't find the same problem in others' accounts.
Does anyone have ideas? Thanks for the help.

It looks like your previous GitHub Education application was denied, and that’s why the “Start an application” button keeps redirecting you to Copilot instead of opening a new form.
When an application is denied, GitHub usually locks the form until the cooldown period is over or until support manually resets it.

Since support is the only team that can reopen or reset a denied Education application, your best option is to wait for their reply on your ticket. They’re a bit slow sometimes, but they do eventually respond. Keep an eye on the ticket email—you won’t be able to bypass the redirect yourself.

Yep, that’s right there’s nothing else you need to do on your side. Just wait for GitHub Support to get back to your ticket. Once they respond, they’ll either reopen the application or tell you the next steps.
