Would be very useful, also poe api already supports claude code and cursor by changing the baseUrl of the api requests, something similar for copilot should be possible. |

First, thank you for all the work on GitHub Copilot – it has become an essential part of my daily workflow.
I'd like to request support for using Poe API as a backend option for GitHub Copilot.
My Situation (Hong Kong User)
I am a developer based in Hong Kong.
Since I already subscribe to Poe, I want to use it as my backend for Copilot instead of setting up a separate OpenRouter account.
What is Poe?
Poe is a model aggregator service (just like OpenRouter) that provides unified API access to models from multiple providers:

What I'm trying to do
I want to use the models I already pay for via Poe directly inside GitHub Copilot.
What I would like Copilot to support
Why this matters (Poe vs OpenRouter)
Both services solve the "region lock" issue, but Poe offers a different model that many users prefer:
Poe acts as a model hub just like OpenRouter. Since official APIs are blocked for us, adding Poe support gives us a vital flat-rate alternative to OpenRouter.
Any workarounds?
Currently, I have to use third-party extensions (like Roo Code) or copy-paste code, which breaks the Copilot workflow.
If there's a better place for this request
If there is a more appropriate place to file this Poe API request (for example, for Copilot Extensions), please let me know and I will gladly repost it there.
Thank you for considering Poe API support!
