problem with opening a codespace in my system even though i installed every required extensions and it is saying failed to

and it is not opening in browser also?

The error “Failed to connect. Requested codespace not found.” usually means the Codespace either stopped, was deleted, or VS Code lost connection to it.

You can try the following:

1. Check if the Codespace still exists
   Go to: https://github.com/codespaces

• If you see it listed as “Stopped”, try starting it again.
• If it���s not listed at all, it may have been deleted automatically, and you’ll need to create a new one.

2. Recreate the Codespace
   If restarting doesn’t work, delete the existing Codespace (if visible) and create a fresh one from the repository.

3. Sign out and reconnect in VS Code

• Sign out of GitHub inside VS Code
• Close VS Code completely
• Reopen it and sign in again
• Use “Codespaces: Connect to Codespace” from the Command Palette

4. Try opening it in the browser

• Go to https://github.com/codespaces
• Launch it from there
• If it still doesn’t open, try using an Incognito/Private window
• Make sure you’re logged into the correct GitHub account

5. Check access and limits

• Confirm you still have access to the repository
• Make sure Codespaces is enabled
• Check that you haven’t reached your usage or billing limits

If it’s still not working, sharing whether the Codespace appears in your dashboard and whether this is a personal or organization repository would help narrow it down.
