Hi npm Support team,
I previously created an organization and then deleted and now i am trying to recreate it says orgname not available why? is it npm freez the org names?

I think so. You must clear the orgname that you deleted before you reclame it again.😁

Deleted npm org names are temporarily reserved after removal, so you must wait for the release period or ask npm Support to free the name.

I previously created an organization with a specific name and later deleted it. When attempting to recreate the organization using the same name, I receive a message indicating that the organization name is not available.

Could you please clarify whether npm permanently reserves deleted organization names, or if there is a waiting period before the name becomes available again?

If possible, I would appreciate guidance on whether the name can be restored or reassigned.
