I finished all the step for registering sponsor account for myself. But it's been pending for more than one month what should i do?

Yeah, waiting that long can feel frustrating. Normally, GitHub Sponsors account approval does not take that long, so if it has been pending for over a month, it usually means something in the verification process is still incomplete or requires manual review.

A few common reasons this happens:

• identity verification documents need manual review
• tax or payout information is incomplete or could not be verified

First, open your Sponsors dashboard and carefully review each step to make sure nothing is marked incomplete.

If you connected Stripe, try logging into your Stripe dashboard to confirm there are no pending verification requests.
