Hello, Well, this kind of rejection happened to me before, and I do remember that it was because of the documents, such as the teacher or student ID, so i did upload a new one, and it should be so clear so they can accept it. Hope this can help! |

Hi, Thanks for the insight, I appreciate it. That might actually be the issue on my side as well. I really need a human to check my evidence/uploads. We don't use individual staff ID's nor does staff have a start and end date. |

I’ll continue to update everyone here with any progress or responses I receive. If a resolution is reached, I’ll close the discussion so others know it’s been sorted. |

Hey, that sounds really frustrating — especially after you’ve already fixed everything they asked for. You’re definitely not alone in this. A few people have run into repeated rejections without clear feedback, and it’s often due to things like unclear document visibility, mismatched details (name, institution, dates), or the system not properly re-evaluating resubmissions. One thing that usually helps is submitting a completely fresh application (not just a resubmission) and making sure: Your document is very clear, well-lit, and readable If that still doesn’t work, try reaching out directly to GitHub Education support — they can manually review your case. Hope you get it sorted soon |

Hi, thanks for your reply. "try reaching out directly to GitHub Education support", do you have a link or email? |

Hi all, a small update. I tried emailing education@github.com but i got a response of "IMPORTANT: Support Ticket Declined". The email states to go to https://support.github.com for support. When you use the support site and select "GitHub Education Application Not Approved (faculty)" you get an automatic message, see attached. Does anyone have an email or link that may help? |

Same boat here. I'll just add that the ticket system also states that it's not intended to help with the revision of applications anymore, and that this is the place where we should ask for help... |

Hi All, I managed to set up a ticket and an agent got back to me. "Unfortunately, it looks like the text in your proof couldn’t be read." I used the windows snipping tool to capture my evidence therefore making sure lighting or camera were not a factor. I have resubmitted and I am still getting rejected. So frustrating! |

Hi there. Same issue here. I have uploaded my contract and a certificate of being a university lecturer. In both cases, there are no explicit issues, but I get rejected. |

Verification Help & Guidance
Hi everyone,
I’m a teacher currently applying for education benefits. After my first submission, I received a list of issues to correct. I addressed every point carefully and resubmitted.
However, I’ve now been rejected three additional times, and none of these rejections included any explanation or items to fix. I’m unsure whether this is a system error, a documentation issue, or something else entirely.
If anyone in the community has dealt with similar repeated rejections without feedback, I’d be grateful for advice on how you resolved it
