Hi everyone,

I am currently off campus since my next semester has not yet started. So, how to get myself verified? I have a valid college ID card and email id linked to my github account. I was also a education pack user previously but it has expired and I want to renew.

Hi,

Being off campus should not prevent you from applying for GitHub Education. You can still try verifying with your valid college ID card and your school-issued email address linked to your GitHub account.

Make sure that the ID card clearly shows:

• Your full name
• Your institution name
• A valid date/semester if available
• Any other details that confirm your student status

If the automated verification system rejects your documents, you can submit an appeal/manual review and explain that you are currently away from campus because the next semester has not started yet.

Since you were already an Education Pack user before, also make sure you are applying with the same GitHub account that previously had the benefits.

How can I submit an appeal, I think there is not manual reviews at the moment.
