Re-verification/Repeat Application

Hi everyone,

I have uploaded the HR-provided employment verification letter, and my GitHub profile and billing information contain the exact same name as shown in the HR document. I have also updated my GitHub user profile accordingly.

I have gone through this process multiple times, but my application continues to be rejected. It seems that the automated verification system may not be correctly distinguishing valid faculty documentation from invalid submissions.

Any assistance or guidance on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

Some people have had better luck by using their phone to click a clear picture of the document instead of uploading a scan. Make sure the image is clear, well lit, and all the text is readable. GitHub sometimes can't read small or blurry text properly. Also make sure your full name is clearly visible and matches your GitHub profile and billing information exactly.

If none of that works, just contact GitHub. They can manually review your application and tell you what's causing the verification to fail.

Yes, it worked!! Thank you. I learned that laptop cameras are generally designed for video calls, whereas phone cameras are optimized for capturing documents and photos. Using my phone made all the difference.
