Is it possible to disable the "edit" button for all users email under user preferences- we only want the users to use the initial company email. Thanks

What you are asking is interesting but not possible at the moment.
Thinking to a general feature more than limiting the user to change the feature, i suggest we could possibly think to a feature to restrict configurations to one or more domains.
