I'm an independent developer building software that brings me joy.

I worked for a decade in the security industry trying to keep users safe on the web. While that experience was rewarding, I kept seeing all the software I loved gradually get worse as the inevitable logic of enshittification worked its course.

So, in 2025 I decided to quit my day job and go fully independent to build the kinds of software I think is missing from the world. Software that doesn't seek to lock you in. Software that provides value without extraction. Software built on open protocols that gives users agency.

So far I've made:

• Skyreader: a RSS reader built on the AT Protocol, where your subscriptions and shares are inherently portable
• Skyboard: a collaborative kanban board built on the AT Protocol, where your boards are inherently portable
• Flint: a note-taking app that helps you think, where your notes are plain text and inherently portable

The throughline is powerful and delightful interfaces that empower the user to think/read/plan/collaborate using data they control forever.
