What exactly are you asking? I don't get it ;)

If you have two languages set up and content in those two languages, then the weight will apply to all content, terms too. This seems to be a general Hugo question, so you might get faster and better help in the discourse forum.

This sentence means post your config and what content you try to see in those languages.

The link you are posting in your initial question above is about how to set up your website to have multiple languages. The link you are posting now is about the theme languages this theme is available in. Those two things have nothing to do with each other.

I can answer my own ideas of what you are asking into a black box here.

Are you asking if we have two Portugese theme translations? We don't. We have one. If you want to contribute a translation of the theme for two different portugese languages, then do that. The file names need to change from pt.toml to pt-br.toml and pt-pt.toml. THEN the weights in your setup will apply to the available languages. Until then the language for the theme is pt. If you want your own version of the translation files, make a copy of the theme translation into i18n/ in your website root, rename them appropriately to your language slug, change their contents.

Again, I am pretty sure this is not a theme issue but a general understanding issue of how i18n in Hugo works and might be solved easily in the Discourse forum.
