Since this didn't get any traction, but I kept going back to the icon list and finding it extremely frustrating to use, I wrote a small snippet guide that categorizes the icons for me. I encourage anyone interested in using starlight icons to give it a look. It also documents the various ways you can extend Astro to handle custom icons via several different existing integrations. - 🦥 |

What is your idea?
Trademarked icons should be separated out under their own header in the documentation.
https://starlight.astro.build/reference/icons/
Say, a
Generalsection and aProduct / Trademarkedsection. Why is this important?
People use the starlight icon page as a reference for what icons they can use when writing their documentation.
However as an example you can't use the
Discordlogo in your navigation menu for something other than Discord. Trademarked icons are not for general use, they can only be used to refer to those specific services or products.Splitting it would make the documentation much more helpful. If you are looking for an icon for a product you want to link to, the complete list is all together. If you want an icon for your own site navigation or button, they are all together.
How does your idea relate to existing docs content?
