Ankur Goyal recognized how critical AI evaluation was before the industry treated it as a foundational layer of infrastructure. After building internal eval tools at both Impira and Figma, he saw that every AI team was rebuilding the same infrastructure from scratch and founded Braintrust to become the observability layer for production AI. Greylock has partnered with Braintrust since its seed round. Today, companies like Notion, Replit, Cloudflare, Ramp, and Dropbox rely on Braintrust to ship AI that works.
