Had a fantastic time at the AWS User Group – Bengaluru meetup today: “AI × Cloud × Reliability — Build Smarter. Ship Faster. Stay Reliable." hosted at Zenduty A few highlights that stood out: A powerful opening by Mahak Kaur that set the tone for how reliability and developer velocity are more intertwined than ever. Amitosh Swain Mahapatra ’s session on CodeRabbit for Infrastructure-as-Code: we explored how AI-powered review of Terraform/CloudFormation/CDK can cut review time, catch governance/security issues early and accelerate delivery. Nandini Bhatt’s talk titled When Ops Can’t Keep Up: Auto-Stopping AWS MediaLive to Save Cost & Chaos — a very relatable story for anyone running media workflows or dynamic cloud services. Srinivas Devaki’s “Deep Telemetry for High Entropy Systems”: really got me thinking about observability, signal vs noise, and how to design for reliability in chaotic systems. Key takeaways for me: Reliability isn’t just a run-book thing — it starts at the code/infrastructure layer and flows through the organization. AI and automation are becoming essentials enablers, not just nice-to-haves, for infrastructure governance and speed. Observability and telemetry matter more than ever — designing systems that can handle “high entropy” is a real challenge. Cost management + chaos control can go hand-in-hand (thanks to Nandini Bhatt’s session) — something that every cloud team should think through. Thanks to the organisers and speakers for putting together such a sharp event.
