Suraj Yadav liked thisSuraj Yadav liked thisThe Death of the "Family Pack" 🍿📉 The era of pantry-stocking is fading. In Quick Commerce, we don't buy for the month we buy for the moment. Managing a 1,000+ Cr portfolio, the data is undeniable: • Mini > Mega: 27% of consumers now prioritize "solo" formats over bulk. • The "BFY" Surge: D2C brands like Let's Try & Snackible are winning by mastering the "guilt-free" impulse buy. • Dark Store Math: In a 10-minute delivery world, space is currency. Low-velocity bulky packs are being evicted by high-velocity "Hero SKUs." Quick Commerce isn’t just a channel; it’s a category reshaper. If you aren't winning the "11 PM Craving" with a specialized small pack, you’re leaving 40% of your GMV on the table. Is the "Big Pack" dead, or just hibernating? 👇 #QuickCommerce #ConsumerInsights #FMCG #Snacking #SupplyChain

Because they had "availability issues." 📉 Between managing fill rates, warehouse stock-outs, and 10-minute delivery promises, sometimes the "personal stock" runs a bit low. Who else is feeling the pressure of 99% availability today? 👇 #QCommerce #CategoryManagement #SupplyChain #RetailLife #humour #Instamart #Swiggy #LifeInstamart

Suraj Yadav liked thisSuraj Yadav liked thisToday’s a massive milestone for DOKi. We just dropped our latest innovation, Chicken Chips: crispy, high-protein chips made from chicken breast, bone broth, and spices. No artificial fillers. Why chips? Because we wanted to reimagine India’s most-loved snack format, but with macros that actually make sense. 10g of protein, only 140 calories, and 4 tasty flavours. This is a big shift for us. We're moving from niche meat snacks to mass formats, entering a massive and highly competitive market. We're dropping our price point, opening up a whole new consumer base. And we're betting on the fact that protein isn’t just a gym thing. The health wave in India is real. But people want snacks that taste good first and then do good. And we're building for that future. Lenskart Solutions shares fell around 3% in early trade on September 21, touching ₹683 on the NSE, after a large block deal worth around ₹2,468 crore. Around 3.6 crore shares, representing 2.07% of the company’s equity, changed hands at around ₹688 per share. The transaction comes after Lenskart witnessed other sizeable block deals in August. The sharp move has brought the Lenskart share price back into focus, particularly as the stock had recently touched a record high of ₹725. I’ve covered the block deal, the share price movement, the stake involved, and the key details behind Monday’s fall in my latest article. 👉 Read the full article: https://lnkd.in/gRUg-Fp9 #LenskartSolutions #LenskartSharePrice #StockMarket #IndianStockMarket #BlockDeal #ShareMarket #MarketNews #Stocks #Investing

Your customer is not who you think they are. 🎯 I see this pattern repeat across D2C brands constantly. Teams spend months perfecting packaging, writing sharp copy, and scaling ad spends - all anchored to a customer persona built from gut feel, not data. 📊 A premium D2C skincare brand was convinced their core buyer was a metro-dwelling, high-income woman, aged 25–35, shopping purely on aspiration and brand aesthetics. Their pricing, influencer mix, and entire digital spend spoke to one customer segment. 💄 Then something unexpected showed up in their order data. A disproportionate number of repeat buyers were coming from Tier 2 cities. And they weren't bargain hunters. They were leaving detailed reviews. They had high LTV. They were actively recommending the brand in WhatsApp communities. 🤍 When we ran their customer base through Karma enrichment, the picture became clear. LSI 02 (Affluent New Wealth) was their assumed core. ✅ But nearly 25% of their most loyal, high-repeat customers belonged to LSI 04 (Conservative Middle Class) - a segment with entirely different content habits, purchase triggers, and trust signals. The brand had been invisible to them by design. Not by choice. 👀 The opportunity wasn't just retention. Their TAM had quietly expanded and they hadn't even noticed. This is exactly the gap Kentrix was built to solve. 🚀 🔵 Karma : Define your real ICP using behavioral and economic signals, not assumptions 🟢 Geomarketeer : Map where those customers actually live, so expansion into new pin codes, dark stores, or quick-commerce nodes is grounded in reality 🔵 Persona 360 :Reach high-intent audiences across digital channels with messaging that actually resonates From knowing your true customer → to finding more of them → to engaging them where they already are. 🔄 The D2C brands that scale profitably aren't the ones with the loudest ads. They're the ones who stopped making assumptions first. 💡 Are you building your ICP from data or from a meeting room? Key Recent Developments in Retail • Surge in holiday-season sales & changing consumer behaviour According to Retailers Association of India (RAI), India’s retail sector grew ~11% during the 87-day festive period (Aug–Oct 2025), driven by value-priced categories (e.g. apparel/footwear under ₹2,500). Business Standard +1 In broader holiday shopping globally / online, Adobe Analytics forecasts that U.S. Cyber Monday 2025 spending will hit a record US$14.2 billion, boosted by use of AI-powered shopping tools. Reuters In India, budget-conscious consumers appear to be favouring essentials and value deals — a possible reflection of broader economic caution. • Big growth and investments in organised retail + real estate In Q3 2025, India’s retail real estate leasing jumped ~45% YoY; demand was particularly strong for fashion, food & beverage (F&B), and entertainment segments. Business Standard Organised retail’s long-term outlook remains robust. According to industry forecasts, India’s organised retail market is projected to nearly double by 2030. India Brand Equity Foundation +1 • Retail going high-tech: AI, omnichannel, and digital transformation Across India, retail & e-commerce players are increasingly adopting AI, automation, and data analytics — not just for marketing, but for inventory management, personalization, fraud detection, and supply-chain optimization. GlobeNewswire +1 Globally, the trend of “omnichannel retail” — blending online and offline shopping — remains strong: consumers expect seamless experiences across apps, websites, and physical stores. Trust Payments +1 Retailers are rethinking in-store experiences: physical stores are being redesigned to provide immersive, community-oriented, or value-added experiences (e.g. virtual try-ons, smart checkouts), making them more than just points of sale. Microsoft +1 • Shifts in consumer mindset: value, purpose and “intentional” buying A growing segment of consumers — especially younger shoppers like Gen Z — are shopping more intentionally: emphasising authenticity, value for money, and emotional/spiritual satisfaction over conspicuous consumption. The Guardian +1 This shift is prompting retailers to offer more value-oriented products (private labels, budget-friendly lines), while also finding ways to “connect” with customers beyond just transactions — e.g. loyalty programs, community events, and in-store experiences.
